Who we are
UK Jackpot Review is an independent editorial comparison site. For the purpose of UK data protection law, the editorial team is the data controller for personal data submitted through this site. You can reach us at editorial@ukjackpotreview.com.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address and the contents of your message.
- Server logs. Standard request data such as IP address, browser and the page requested, retained for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying information about which pages are read, used only to improve editorial decisions.
- Cookies. A small acknowledgement cookie used to remember your choice on the cookie notice. See the Cookie Policy.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for, store or process casino account details, payment information, betting history or any data created on a third-party operator’s site. That data sits with the operator you signed up with and is governed by their own privacy policy.
Why we hold this data
- To reply to enquiries and corrections submitted through the contact form.
- To keep the website secure and available.
- To understand, in aggregate, how readers use the site.
The legal basis is your consent for analytics cookies, our legitimate interest in running a secure site, and the necessity of processing the message you choose to send us.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are normally kept for up to 24 months and then deleted unless an open editorial matter requires us to keep them longer. Server logs are rotated within a short retention window. Analytics data is aggregated and not tied to an identifiable person.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of well-known service providers for hosting, email and analytics, who process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. We do not share personal data with the operators reviewed on this site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or provide a copy. To make a request, email editorial@ukjackpotreview.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
